Painted by T.P. Rossiter & J.R. Mignot . Across the bottom of the picture in very faint letters it reads: Entered according to the act of congress in the year of 1863 by T.P. Rossiter & J.R. Mignot in the clerks office of the district court of the united states for the southern ditrict of newyork.
