Re: German Candle

Hello,

I assume you are looking for information on this.

The words Diese Kerze ist Geschmacksmuster geschutzt simply mean that the candle is protected by design patents (German Copyright!).

It's a form of 'eternal' candle usually to remember loved ones who have passed on and sometimes as a souvenir type candle.

They are made even today, but usually have an insert now for an oil wick candle in the center. The new ones sell for about $35.00.

Yours appears to be from about the 1980's ish era and, while I don't collect them, I'd estimate the price to be about $30-$40.

Re: German Candle

To my knowledge there is no really big demand for molded candles of any form, I see them at Goodwill type places for $5.00.
