Description
The sword looks like a Maximilian I of Bavaria (1806 to 1825) made by Peter Wilhelm Knecht Solingen 1770 - 1825 or Peter Knecht 1825 – 1850. It’s very nice sword with an exceptional amount of the fire bluing and gilt still remaining on the blade with a brass lions head handle. The wire on the grip is loose and it has no scabbard.
