I was wondering if you could value my basket glass vase. The trouble I have with glass is that I’m not sure whether it is a factory piece or a more collectable item.
MARKS:
The vase has a polished pontil mark at the bottom (see pictures). There are no factory marks on item.
CONSTRUCTION:
The glass handles has a number of bubbles inside which might possibly give indicate the imperfections of handmade glass?
The handles of the basket look like they have been applied onto the body of vase.
The white decorative colour is sandwiched in-between the main body of glass.
The glass is shiny, and is heavy for such a small item.
