Description

My grandmother gave me  a 1938 statue of a rearing stallion 9" tall ,it has no craks marks or scratches it has been wrapped away until now, It is hand painted with a clear glaze, Beautiful peice 

stamped underneath by Goldscheider Myott Son & co Staffordshire.

Could anyone tell me roughly its worth or even a little more about this

Here is a great link to a collectors club dealing specifically in Goldscheider Myott works., It should answer all the questions you have regarding company history in detail. As to value, similar works of the same time period sell for about $40-65 at auction. A nice item but not very valuable.
