Hi, I have this same clown and have been looking for years for info on him. I don't have the hat though. Do you know if he has a name? How many of them were made? Mine is numbered 284. I just found one the other day at a yard sale. What a wonderful doll. I don't even collect stuff like this, but it was in wonderful condition and priced cheaply. But now I can find out nothing about it. Your two are the only ones mentioned on line anywhere!

I also have one that is very similar. The only difference is that it has red and white clothes with blue stars and two big blue fuzzy balls on the front for buttons. I am interested in what this is worth since my two year old daughter wants to play with it.
