Description I am guessing it is african, but not sure. I bought it at a thrift shop about five years ago for $4.00, because it is so unique. It is hand carved wood, nine pieces, plus the vase, ranging from 7" to 13", vase is mahogony I believe? A hollowed out tree stump, branch? The tools(?) are hand painted, but chipping off, because it is very old I believe? I always thought it might have something to do with a african witch doctor, or voodoo? Or possible tattoo tools, but one of the pieces looks like a flute with seven holes in it. Also one of the pieces has hair attached, wild boar? Please help!!!!!!!
