Re: Antique Geisha Dolls

This is a well-kept set of 6 hand painted and woven dolls. The age is uncertain as they were obtained in 1945 Japan. They have remained in such excellent condition by remaining enclosed in glass cases. The excellent craftmanship is unmistakable down to the fingers on every hand. Would prefer to sell as a set.

Re: Hand-Painted Silk Antique Geisha Dolls

The artistry is most assuredly that of a master. The details, especially of the face, are remarkable. I'm sure these dolls were "spoils of war" after VJ day.
