Description the chair was handmade there are no nails it it at all, completley made out of wood with wood pegs. best guess of age is 100+ years I was told by my father. It is in fair condition, one leg has a spilt in it and one of the the rails is completely spilt and my father taped it a long long time ago. I am trying to find out its history age and if it is worth keeping or to get it repaied or would it be better to sell this item.

Chairs like this were made 1820-50, they are loosely based on Sheraton style chairs. Most originally had a decorative painted finish, values for them are very modest, even if in undamaged condition, often selling for under $50.00 at auction. Lovejoy
