Highly engraved ,JAs Stimpson 1854 Silver double walled Water Pitcher, apparently used on the Dining cars,of the Union Pacific Railroads of the day.

Description

Highly engraved water jug, with a figure head of a lady atop of the upswept pouring handle. The lid has a high knob, surrounded by 4 circular knobs, and one further one on top. The jug has ornate fine engraving around the main jug itself. Highly ornate in its design. The jug has not been cleaned, since I've owned it,but stored in a dark cupboard for years. I have just recently put it on display,in our new large china cabinet.
