this bed is a little chipped from being handed down to me from my great grandfather. It feels like metal except it's iron. it has a slight curled up design in the fron t and in the back ...um i don't have a picture of it but it's old though...it is in great condition though 'cause i still sleep on it...i do tell people to be careful because i don't wat the springs to be destroyed...ummm that's all i have to say...good lucki am by the way a teenager
