Could you possibly help me to identify the marking on the back of this teacup and saucer? I inherited two teacups and saucers from my parents, however I do not know when or where they were obtained. From my limited research, it seems to be Japanese Kutani Eggshell Porcelain, hand painted in the colours of red, blue, green and gold, with dark green and gold edging and handles. The picture depicts three Geisha girls near a pagoda. The spots making up the white flowers are raised. I cannot distinguish whether the marking on the back of the cups and saucers is a signature or a stamp. I would be very interested to know the approximate age, origin and if these are valuable.
