Description

This is a large 10" long and 7" high cheese keeper with an asian character in gold above the glaze on lid and bas. Red dot next to gokd character inside lid. There's an "h o" or "o y" under the glaze. Seems to be art nouveau. Old. The glaze has worn off of the base some. Looks to be hand painted etc. I've looked high and low for the character's meaning and I've gotten so many possibilities that I wanted to ask a professional for help. Thank you
