Description

This is a 8" Japanese Satsuma Fluted Vase with handles . It has No markings on bottom... just a tiny red dot .  What i have come to find out is that Between the late 1800's & 1920 they use to paint a symbol in red of a circle & cross & the artists tag. & that vases after this time that were replicated has (in english writing) Royal Satsuma or made in China . I also seen a couple of articles stating that vases from an earlier period had no markings. This Vase also has the cracked glaze & raised painting as well as a milky yellow background with Gold accents everywhere.
