Japanese?chinese? carved wooden table/i think teak

Description I have one long coffee table and 2 endtables,throughout moving i have lost the legs which screwed on but the tops are in good shape,the carvings in great shape. these tables have several layers of highly detailed carvings. they smell great,i think its Teak wood. I have no clue how old they really are or exactly where they come from. At one point i was gonna make them into wall hangings taking the carvings out and framing them. someone please help me with soem info on these. thank you

<p>These tables were &quot; Made for Export&quot; pieces, most were brought home by tourists or service men stationed in South East Asia. Most were made in China, the earliest ones dating back to the turn of the 19th Century, but in a more traditional form of table. They&#39;ve never really been out of production, and values vary depending on the quality of the carving. Pieces in this same form can be found as trunks, screens or incorporated into other forms of furniture. Value wise, $200.00 for the three.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Lovejoy </p>
