Bowl is a two piece which unscrews above the gold band..I could not move it the removable bowl has three draft holes in the bottom

the stem and shank are block amber and the bowl looks like faturan to me

the trim is rolled gold and the pipe is 5 in long

It has a nice case with KB&B in a clover

Re: KB&B Faturan and Amber pipe with Gold trim

The bowl looks to be made of the same material as faturan prayer beads which are VERY expencive..I have been colecting for many years and have not seen a pipe bowl made of this material

The pipe has been smoked but probably not over 10 times in a hundred years and is clean inside and out

The original eBay seller got it in an estate salein a box with dishes and costume jeweleryand knew nothing of pipes..one minuite after he pisted it I bought it
