Description This doll was hidden under my grandmothers bed in a box for years. I can't remember which family member was said to have owned it. It is in it original clothing I believe. I was never allowed to touch it only look at it. I think the body is paper mache. When I showed this doll to my mother she had never seen it before. My grandmother gave this doll and another one to me before she passed since I was the only grandchild who showed any interest in it. I found the markings on the back of it's head. I think it might be a Kestner doll out of Germany. I have seen similar faces but not any that are exactly the same. She has real eyelashes and her eyes open and shut. Her elbows, wrists, and knees are movable. She is 27' long.

Yes your doll is a Kestner I looked her up in my guides.  If she has never been played with she should have a mark on her body as well. "Germany + a number.  Her size is wonderful and she books for around $1100.00.  Very nice indeed keep her forever.
