It is as you say the Knight templar Masonic lodge called the St Aldemar commandery no 18 Knight Templar. Whitehead and Hoag (1892-1921) made many different types of advertising, political, and fraternal items. The company developed and patented celluloid so they could produce advertising more durable than just paper. The most common item they made was the celluloid pin back button. These were mostly advertising, political or commemorative and have a wide range in price depending on their rarity and subject matter. The Whitehead and Hoag Company also made fraternal items including uniforms and accessories. The company was one of the largest of it's kind in the world. And any item marked with their logo should be researched as it is a sign of a quality piece with a potential for value.
