Landscape

By [email protected], 11 August, 2010
Description

It came from a place called Art Lore. It has one label on the back with the following info:
M-118/0. It has another small label in upper right corner stating it was made in Italy and that it is an original oil painting. The back of the frame is covered in what looks like silk.

Re: Landscape

otto ritter von thoren 1828-1889 mainly agricultural pictures. lived in france and austria. anywhere between 2000-9000 pounds. would need to see clearer pic of painting and signature as there are a few von thorens about. that frame is magnificent if it is genuine and you should be considering a specialist art auction.at least let your local auction house look at it.

Re: Landscape

Please check back later today, as I will be posting newer pictures. The problem I'm having is I have no idea where to take this picture. I live about 20 min. from Chicago, but I cannot find anywhere to take it to be properly appraised.

Thank you for your help

[email protected] try sending this lot an email and pics asking if it is something that would interest them. they will either say yes or no.

http://www.susanins.com/ again pics an a polite note to any you choose, if its a good item they will be straight back to you as they wont want to lose it. worst that happens is you get a polite no or ignored. will need better pics though. do keep me informed as is very interesting.Im in uk or i would sell it for you through the auctioneers i know.

Re: Landscape

Thank you for your help. I have redone the pictures, if you would like to see. For some reason, the last picture keeps coming out blurry. Will keep you updated, and thank you very much for your help.
