This is a large curved bookcase that fits in a corner. My Grandad bought it at an auction years ago.
The curved glass doors are hung on the front pillars, that swivel, and act as hinges.
There is a drawer in the bottom that pulls of for extra storage.
It stands approx 6'. The backside curve is approx 8', the inside curve is approx 6-7'.
It is an original handmade piece, I believe it to be the only one made. I believe the wood is oak.
Lots of intricate wood working and scrolling along the top and edges.
Estimated age is around 70-80 years.
The coloring in the pictures is true to life.
This is a beautiful piece of furniture! The wood is undamaged, and in perfect condition. The color, handwork and originality alone of this bookcase make it truely one of a kind!
