Re: large old Asian water color
Have you taken this to a local art dealer to confirm that it is not a print? Is there a dot matrix pattern on the artwork?
Re: large old Asian water color
Hi,
Definately paint, it was checked by a local art dealer, but he does not know anything about it, he told me that it was a water color on cardboard stock.
Regards,
Kevin
Re: large old Asian water color
Holy cow! I have a similar painting by the same artist! I would love to know who she was, where it came from, when it was painted & how much it might be worth.
I can tell you this much: I paid $30.00 for mine & I once saw the same painting in an antique shop selling for $350.00!
I love it & will never sell it, but it would be nice to know more about it.
Let's keep each other in the loop on this, OK?
