This chair belonged to my Great-great Pennsylvania Dutch Grandfather. It has been in my family for many years. I do not know much about it or the actual value of this chair. I believe it is dated back to the latter 1800's to early 1900's. I just am not sure of its age. This Chair is made of oak I believe. It has a flared cushion for your back and is adjustable to fit comfort of seating. It's seats are covered in leather which is original. The legs in the front have a side profile of a lions head and paws carved into it. If anyone has any thought to as who the manufacturer was, what years possibly, the appraisal value (if possible) or any history of this chair I would love to know.
