Description This is a white (eggshell) Lexington vanity that I recently acquired at a yard sale it has a tri-fold mirror with the middle mirror being a full length and can be slid out and detached and 6 drawers the top drawer on each side has Lexington marking burned into the wood the bottom drawer on the right is missing it's pull. (an online search for this pull is what led me to believe it may be an antique) the middle section has grooved slots on each side that may have held a thin shelf i do not know if this is so it is just a guess and if there was such a shelf it is also missing. it is in really good shape with just a little chip on the bottom corner edge. I don't know the weight and would be hesitant to guess but it is much heavier than it looks. I really love this piece and don't wish to sell it just to know if I should strip and paint it as I had planned or take it somewhere special to be restored.

Hi!! I just bought the exact same piece from a quality used furniture store. Please let me know whether you decided to strip down and paint or take it to a restoration place, or what you found out about the piece. I'd really appreciate it.

Hi, I have this vanity and have just repainted it recently for a new updated look.  I bought this vanity table in early 90's so I don't think it can be considered an antique.  You are correct, the grooved slots hold a glass shelf.  I would love to have included the before & after pictures to show you but don't know how to do it as it doesn't give me options in tool bar to attach pictures.  (This is my 1st time on here).  So if you're interested in seeing what I did, please message me with your email address and I will send it to you.  I painted it a very pale grey and loved how it came out, it looks sort of French European vintage now.
