This is what's called a "Hall Seat" they were often sold in pairs and sat in front halls of large homes. Most like this date from the late 19th century to the mid 1920's. Most do not hab upholstery, what's on yours appears to have been added. At auction one like this might go for $75.00.

The hab cover is only to protect the original seat underneath the original seat is in good condition expect for it could a little cleaning no rips
