History
Was my grandmother's who died in 1937. Possibly gotten at the chicago world's fair
I have a set of these prayer glasses. They have a gold rim, which is very faded. I had six, but my son accidentally broke one about 25 years ago.
They had belonged to my great-grandmother, so I know they are very old.
I would love to find one to replace the one that was broken, but I would never want to part with the remaining five, as they have been in my family for generations.
It is possible that they came from the Chicago World's Fair of 1933-34, as my grandparents, at least, usually did attend the World's Fairs.
My grandparents and great-grandparents lived in Cincinnati, Ohio.
