Made in China plate help w/identification

Profile picture for user Donna Kay
By Donna Kay, 5 September, 2012
Description

All I know about this plate/shallow bowl is that it is a gold trimmed, has a ruffled edge,

it looks like inlaid dark Mother of Pearl & that has gold trimmed around it,& the whole

plate is covered w/blueish stippling. The markings on back says Made in China in red with

1 thin line & 1 thicker line in red & F7 in red as well. Then there's a marking that is blue that

resembles a painter's pallet w/A25 in center in blue as well.There is a B & I think a 1but color

is faded off.

I have talked w.few appraisers but all they could tell me was they thought the gold was 14 or 22

carat,& that I was right about Mother of Pearl & that they thought it to be from early 1900's..

I'd be truly appreciative if any1 could tell me who the manufacturer is,date & maybe value.

Thank you,Donna Kay
