This display case was used in my store to display wine glasses. The lights are not original ā I installed those. However, there are holes on the back and top panel that appears to accommodate lighting. The top section holds a glass shelf and the bottom section has sliding glass doors ā included is a small block of wood (see picture) that appears to stop the doors from sliding all the way if slid too far. Both doors are on separate tracks so that they both can slide all the way across the case. Also, inside the bottom section, there is an additional glass shelf installed inside. On the front of the case, there is a label that says āQuality Equipment, R. Mansfeld & Son, Incorporated, Louisville, KY; āThe Best that Man Can Buildā.ā Other than that, I donāt know any history behind it. I would just like to know an approximate value of this piece.
