Description

Salesman display of 16 parasol handles made in combination of gold, silver, mother of pearl,   All sixteen contained in the original leather carrying/display case that was used to sell / take orders for the parasol handles door to door in 1890.  The collection belonged to my grandfarther's brother that passed away in 1890.  I am interested in an appraisal and any information that might lead me to a potential buyer.

Size and dimensions of this item When rolled and closed the outside leather carrying case measures 8" diameter x 16" long. When rolled open the leather case measures 16" x approximately 5 feet.
Date Period 1870-1890. Original owner sold the parasols door to door and was doing so when he passed away in 1890.
Weight 10 pounds
History Salesman display belonged to my grandfather's brother that passed away in 1890.
