Description

I have a small Platte Valley Whiskey Jug, approx 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide. I don't have a camera to take a picture, but I can describe it and add a similar picture. The K in the McCormick at the top runs into the handle and there is no marking on the bottom as I have seen on others. It does have USA indented on the bottom, similar to how McCormick is on the top.  It still has the red seal on the top. It looks like the jugs in the pictures as far as the writing that's printed. I'm wondering if it is authentic or not, mostly since there is no marking on the bottom, the K runs into the handle, and I have never seen one this small. Thank you in advance!

I too have this. I was told "stoneware" jugs are sought by fans and competitiveness at auctions can confuse us who have similar item to judge price with much disappointment. This was 10+ years ago when our jugs were wanted with high $$ promises from buyers. I hope this ugly is no longer faking people out.
