I have a small Platte Valley Whiskey Jug, approx 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide. I don't have a camera to take a picture, but I can describe it and add a similar picture. The K in the McCormick at the top runs into the handle and there is no marking on the bottom as I have seen on others. It does have USA indented on the bottom, similar to how McCormick is on the top. It still has the red seal on the top. It looks like the jugs in the pictures as far as the writing that's printed. I'm wondering if it is authentic or not, mostly since there is no marking on the bottom, the K runs into the handle, and I have never seen one this small. Thank you in advance!

There is 50 of them listed on Ebay right now, they were a mass produced item and certainly not rare or values. Here's a link: http://www.ebay.com/sch/sis.html?_kw=Vintage+1967+McCormick+Platte+Valley+pottery+stoneware+straight+corn+whiskey+jug

The jug is authentic, but the age would be after the early 80's. After about 1982, they quit putting the stamped information on the bottom and just put usa on it.
