Meriden Britannia Co. Tilting Water Pitcher

IMG 1366 Meriden Britannia is an overall view. The identification reads: PATD JUNE 13, 1868 then PATD NOV 3D 1868 and 179. Plus the Meriden B Company mark with the scales and shield.

IMG 1367 is a view of the mark on the underside.

IMG 1370 is of the goblet underside and it is Wilcox Silver Plate Co. with HB and 1227. The goblet is shown in IMG 1366.

I know some of the history of the two companies but not of these two items.
