A nice solid oak rocking chair from Murphy Chair Co. out of Detroit Michigan. The bottom of the seat on the underside of the chair reads Murphy Chair Co. Detroit MI. No. 652. The bottom side of the covering reads Spaulding Fibre Products. The covering does have a tear across it, but I think it's the original covering. Any thoughts on the age of this chair and it's approximate value?
