Re: the night before christmas
History:
Clement Calrke Moore was born in New York city. Clement Clarke Moore was a scholar in Arts at the University of Columbia. Moore wrote about religion, politics, languages, and poetry and was well respected for his work. At the Age of thirty, Moore wrote "A Visit from St. Nicholas". It was not until 22 years later that he said he had wrote the book after it was released the the public. This raises controversy on whether he actually did right he book. "A Visit from St. Nicholas" is commonly known today as "T'was a Night Before Christmas" or "The Night Before Christmas". His work was not respected by many as he was a smart scholr who chose to write fictional poems. After completing his work, he continued to write about mainly politics until his death at age 84.
Market and Value:
His book his still very collectible and common today. Books fromt he 1800s and early 1900s are worth much more than yours but your item still has value. Your item appears to be in great condition and I'd appraise it at $40 in today's market.
If I was any help, I'd appreciate an accepted comment! Thanks!
