This is a nice Nippon piece,

This is a nice Nippon piece, Nippon is of course Japanese for "Japan". The Nippon mark was used to comply with the US trade tariff law, he Mckinley Act of 1891 . The act required that all items imported into the USA must be stamped with their country of origin, the Nippon mark was largely dropped for the word " Japan" in English about 1921. Value Wise $200.00- $300.00

Re: Nippon Vase

My  comment on the piece from 2007 would be pretty much the same for yours. Values for Nippon took a bit of a dive in the 1990's and never really has recovered, with values not changing much from 2007. Yours dates about 1900-1910.
