Measurements: 47.9 x 34.0 x 0.9 INCH (H x W x D)
There are similar looking maps made by central school supply - not sure if atlas became central at one point.
I have seen similar ones which have alaska shown at the top left of map, mine has alaska on bottom left.
The first picture is the from the internet (NOT MY MAP) and is provided to show differences.

History
Grandfather gave two maps to my dad, parents divorced, mom was left with this one. Grandfather is former teacher/ww2 veteran. Not sure where/how grandfather received map.
