This is a coffee pot. The reg# dates from 1887, meaning the pattern and style was registered then. I have found a few different manufactures of "Old Chelsea" but your pattern is by Furnivals 1890-?. This could have been registered by Thomas Furnival if you go by the dates.
There should be a makers mark on this pot and a clear photo of it can give a better idea of the actual date of manufacture. I do not know when they stopped making this pattern so I cant tell you how old it really is w/o a makers mark.
Replacements Ltd wants $219.00 for one, but they sell for way less on Ebay.
