Old photographs

Hi my name is ed and I’m new here , I have three what it looks to be old photographs two are what appears to be from early as 1900’s, and one maybe around 1930-50’s . All these photographs were bought at a yard sale locally here in Athens, Tn. USA.  One of the photographs has a name written on the back of it with last name but i haven’t been able to  recognize the last name, name starts as George va****a it’s all i am able to recognize from the signature.
