old stich work in a picture frame

This needle work was found in a vacant apartment when the resident went to a nursing home. The resident was born in 1917 and was a devout catholic From the pictures I am lead to believe it is related to pope leo XIII and it has the date of the 20th day of ? 1892.

The peice is in a frame and is embrodery work. I do not know why they used extra things to hold some of the stiching in place. This appeares to be very old. I am intrested in finding the value and selling this item. [email protected]
