The stones surrounding the face look to be peridot; one of the reasons I wanted to find one like this was to see if they indeed are. The stones are tight, the face is scratch-free, and it keeps perfect time.
The only watch I could find at all similar in my research was a sunflower for the face and petals surrounding it. That one was dated late 1880s.
Is it wise to have the watch cleaned? Thank you!
