Description Very nice oriental wood statue of possibly a Monk or other religous figure. I was told it was used as a dinner bell. The piece needs to be cleaned professionally and some of the paint is chipping off. It is missing the front of one foot and the striker for the bell is gone also.I've seen similar in an exibition at the Birmingham,Alabama Museum of Art a few years ago. But no value placed on them.
