Hello, we bought these same chairs. A total of 6 at an auction as well. We don't know much about them either. I will comment when I find more info on them. Thanks

These are modern versions of Original Chinese "Dragon Chairs" first made during the 19th Century for the export market. Examples like these are usually made in Indonesia now.
