Description there are 2 oval paintings with i believe cherry wood frames.The first one is of a litehouse and a smaller building surrounded by mountains and water.Part of the small building has either mother of pearl or abalony shell as part of the window.The painting is on the inside of the glass.The second pic is of a house with trees,water and mountains surrounding the house.The peak of the house also has mother of pearl or abalony.

What you have are Victorian picture frames with a grained mahogany finish, the reverse painted glass was done at a much later date. These domed glass frames were originally meant for large portrait photo's. At auction I've seen these sell for under $50.00
