I bought this painting app 7 years ago in a red barn sale.
It caught my eyes rightaway cause it reflects the village that I grew up.
I dont really have much knowledge about art and painting except for the usual and famous one like monet and vangaugh.
The painting says Torreilli in it,no dates just a name

<p>As I've said before, original artwork cannot really be appraised online. Such pieces really need to be physically examined by a qualified Fine Arts Appraiser. Your best bet if you want to find out if your piece is by a " Known Artist" is to go here http://www.artprice.com and search for the artists name. If there is no listing for your artist it could be that the artist hasn't sold any artwork at a major auction house since the late 1980's. This generally means the piece is low cost Decorator Art of a type sold at Starving Artist type shows and Decorator outlets.</p><p> </p><p>Lovejoy </p>
