Pair Of Candlesticks

Pair of candlesticks, not 100% sure of their origin possibly English, also not sure of the metal, non magnetic so thinking possibly brass, patinated bronze etc just no idea at all, very decorative so hoping someone can at least identify the style, place of origin and possible materials they are made along with potential value, dont seem to have been worked on, cleaned etc They screw together in 5 sections on an iron threaded centre, would appreciate any help, advice . Friend who dabbles in antigue furniture suggested they are circa 1880, brass/bronze patinted so open to something more positve as regards feedback.
