Description

This pair of MCM nightstands is made from a light wood given a cherry stain, and have metal handles on their drawers. They are marked Ramseur Furniture Co inside the drawers, and are marked as Oak and Feb 3 1957, and Feb 5 1957. Both have some scratching of the varnish, and the handles are somewhat tarnished/oxidized. One has some chipping on the top surface. They are both marked '206 NIGHTSTANDS 925'.

Distinguishing marks Dates, the words '206 NIGHSTAND 927' stamped in ink on the back, the word 'Oak' handwritten on the back, the trademark 'Ramseur Furniture Co.' burnt into the inside of the drawer, around the word 'Quality'.

Condition Good

Size and dimensions of this item L15" x W21" x H23"

Date Period February 3rd and 5th, 1957.

History Purchased at a Goodwill this month, unless the stamp is a fabrication it's from February 1957. Age and style-wise, its undeniably Mid-Century Modern.
