History My husband did construction in a couple`s home. The owner him to choose 3 paintings that he liked, in the hallway of this home. My husband chose these. Later, the owner got sick and phoned my husband to go back and see him. He gave him the three paintings he chose. Having no children, he had decided to give them to my husband saying that he had deserved them. Two weeks later, the man passed away. Few years later, we decided to get info on these paintings, who the person is, where she comes from, if she is known, if they are worth anything, ect... We have made an inquiry abput her paintings, to Erefel Art Gallery on Canada , we join a copy of the reply. This painter is from Hungary and studied un Budapest university of fine arts. She came to Canada in 1957. It is on the back of one painting.

Honestly, i think this lady had the description she puts on the back and the brass placque made up herself to make work look more important than it is.   I also have one of her paintings, and there is someone else on here with one.
