How much is it worth
Re: Richard Nixon wax candle head
History:
This candle was sold in Washington DC in the 1960s and 1970s. It depicts a red, white, and blue bow tie beneath his head to represent the United States and his Presidency. It is a caircature of Nixon as his long nose and big head may represent his scandals. The candle was manufactured in Mexico but sold in Washington DC at convenience stores for tourists.
Market & Value:
The President collectible market is strong as this would appeal to candle collectors and collectors of Presidential items. I'd appraise this item at $30. The average recent selling price is $21.64 which is below the valued price but the item will increase in value as time passes as long as you take good care of it. The right buyer could buy it for the valued price but in todays market, you may get less.
If I was any help, I'd appreciate an accepted comment! Thanks!
