This is an older version of the Rolex Crown sticker that was applied to the back of the Rolex watch cases, interesting that it doesnt have the number on it?..
DBoy..I would take this to a watch dealer near you. I do not want to say its fake, but things don't look right from your photos..Let me explan.. first the backing plate looks cheap, the sticker has no number, and is applied crooked , Rolex does everything to say "Hey look at me I'm perfect!" please please please take this to a watch dealer and get it checked out,,,If you spent $4000.00 for this I would want it to be real!.
check a few things yourself.. when you look at the second hand moving, is it ticking or is it smoothly moving? is there any markings on the clasps?
please let me know what you find out...I read somewhere that Rolex never used Gold and stainless steel combo. might have been at link I posted, Good Luck
