This belonged to my great Grandmother who immigrated here (Australia)from England in the 1920's. The pattern appears to be grapes or blackberries on a vine? From research I have discovered: - This Royal Doulton mark was used from 1931-32 onwards - "3-35" imprint means it was made March 1935. - "D5311" pattern number was registered to Royal Doulton in 1933, There is a "9" (maybe a "C", please check photo) printed under the "D5311" pattern number. Any idea on what this means would be great.
Â
I would love to know any other information on this piece please, what the "9" or "C" means,
Â
what the "17" means, what this pattern was called, what this bowl would have been used for and any idea of value, etc (besides the priceless sentimental value, of course! :) )
Â
Thanks so much!!! :)Â
