Description This painting hung for many years in a local lodge, and the lodge owner's son, who is now an elderly man, believes his Mother may have bought it in Ontario Canada, in the 1940's, knowing she has a lodge to decorate.  It looks Scandinavian, and that makes sense.  This valley was settled by the Scandinavians and the owner of the lodge might have wanted that sort of decor.
