Description
This appears to be a genuine R. J. Horner secretary. It has two significant defects. The first is a crack running left to right through the center of the writing desk. The second is a missing shelf or drawer that was apparently mounted to the bottom of the desk. All that is left are the broken tracks. Considering these defects, it is doubtful that it has any current value. However, an extensive internet search has never yielded a piece that looks like it. I would be interested to know what its value might have been in good condition, when it was manufactured and what the numbers on the back of the piece mean. Any information at all about this piece is welcome.
